How to link multiple agreement to the same Customer

In Storman, it is possible to map many Agreements to one Customer Code. As a result, these Agreements are then linked by the same Customer Code (the internal 10-character code that Storman uses to manage Customers). This makes the adjustment of contact details much easier as changing them once will reflect on all Agreements that are linked to that Customer Code. During the below process you will be linking 2 agreements to the same customer code.

Overview of steps:

  1. Navigate to: Opening the Agreement
  2. Updating Customer [Agreement info tab]

Step 1. Navigate to: Opening the Agreement

Open the second agreement you wish to link to an existing customer. A common way to do this is to double click the agreement in the customer list.

Step 2. Selecting Customer to Link [Agreement info tab]

  • Change Name. Press the Edit button and change the name as required before pressing the TAB key. Once entered, Storman will display a list of Customers that match the name you entered.

  • Clicking Select highlighted Customer will link the above agreement with the highlighted customer's code and as a result, share all those details including contact information and gate PIN codes.

Important: We recommend that you perform a Recalc Balances operation on the Customer Code at this time. This recalculates the Customer balance based on the new transactions
